Gasbarre
Products, Inc. was founded in 1973 to design and manufacture and service a complete
line of powder compaction and sizing presses for the powder metallurgy
industry. Since that time, Gasbarre Products, Inc.
has grown to seven divisions and subsidiaries, earning a worldwide reputation as a full service supplier
to the powder metallurgy, particulate materials, electronic component
and thermal processing industries. With seven companies and
200 employees in North America, Asia and Europe, Gasbarre Products stands
alone in the ability to offer equipment and services for all processes
related to powder compaction. With 20% of Gasbarre Products, Inc.
production exported, today there are thousands of Gasbarre Products
presses, furnaces and other equipment in operation around the world.
Gasbarre
Press Division, the founding division of the corporation, manufactures the original line of Gasbarre mechanical
powder compaction & sizing presses and ancillary equipment. Industrial furnaces and thermal processing equipment are manufactured at Sinterite
Furnace Division, acquired by Gasbarre in 1989. McKee
Carbide Tool Division was added in 1997, manufacturers of tooling & dies and precision machined components. PTX-Pentronix joined Gasbarre Products in 1999. Best
Hydraulic Presses was purchased in 2000, manufacturers of hydraulic powder compacting and sizing presses. SIMAC
Ltd., acquired in 2002, manufactures dry bag isostatic powder compaction presses. The acquisition of C.I. Hayes in 2003 complements Sinterite Furnace Division with an extensive line of high temperature industrial furnaces.
