Gasbarre
Products, Inc. was founded in 1973 to design and manufacture a complete
line of powder compaction and sizing presses for the powder metallurgy
industry. Since that time 30 years ago, Gasbarre Products, Inc.
has grown and earned a worldwide reputation as a full service supplier
to the powder metallurgy, particulate materials, electronic component
and thermal processing industries. With 6 manufacturing plants and
200 employees in North America and Europe, Gasbarre Products stands
alone in the ability to offer equipment and services for all processes
related to powder compaction. With 20% of Gasbarre Products, Inc.
production exported, today there are thousands of Gasbarre Products
presses, furnaces and other equipment in operation around the world.
As
the founding division, Gasbarre
Press Division manufactures the original line of Gasbarre mechanical
powder compaction and sizing presses. Acquired in 1989, Sinterite
Furnace Division manufactures a line of industrial furnaces
and thermal processing equipment. McKee
Carbide Tool Division was acquired in 1997 and manufactures
tooling and precision machined components. PTX-Pentronix
manufactures a line of high speed compaction presses and became
part of the Gasbarre group of companies in 1999. Best
Hydraulic Presses was purchased in 2000 and produces hydraulic
powder compaction presses. SIMAC
Ltd., acquired in 2002 produces isostatic powder compaction
presses.
And finally, C.I.
Hayes was added in 2003 and manufactures
an extensive line of high temperature industrial furnaces.
