Lead Off Electrician is responsible for electrical activities under the direction of the Shop Foreman.  All performed activities are to be done ensuring they correspond with company goals and objectives.

REPORTS TO:  Shop Foreman

FLSA RATING:  Non-exempt, over time paid after 40 hours per week

Functions and Details

  1. Perform duties and activities under the instruction of the Shop Foreman.
  2. Perform duties and activities in accordance with company goals and objectives.
  3. Perform duties and activities in a safe and efficient manner.
  4. Communicates departmental information to Shop Foreman on a daily basis or as needed.
  5. Other duties as assigned by Shop Foreman or Manufacturing Manager.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  1. Proficient in electrical wiring and assembly
  2. Proficient in blueprint reading and application
  3. Communication – written and verbal
  4. Problem Solving
  5. Willingness to follow instruction
  6. Ability to perform all essential functions of this job

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent, with some manufacturing experience required.

Physical Requirements

Lifting a maximum of 50 pounds. This job requires extensive amounts of walking, standing, sitting, squatting, and else required to perform the job.
