Custodial Laborer Application

GENERAL SUMMARY
This position description details the work expected of temporary full and part-time cleanup personnel employed to assist with cleaning and organizing production areas. These positions are temporary for a period of six (6) months, exceptional work can lead to permanent employment. Under the ultimate direction of the Manufacturing Manager, and with direct supervision by various supervisors and leads, the qualified applicant will undertake a wide variety of duties as part of a highly visible effort to clean and organize production areas.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Cleaning and maintaining of Building 1 and 2
  • Garbage removal
  • General cleaning and maintenance (floors, walls, windows, equipment, etc.)
  • Painting
  • Inventory sorting
  • Assembly/disassembly of shelving, furniture, etc.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
The qualified applicant will have the following attributes and capabilities:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Able and willing to take direction and stay on-task

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This job requires extensive amounts of walking, standing, sitting, and lifting (up to 50lbs).
