Continuous Atmosphere
Inclined entry and exit tunnels to the raised heating chamber provide the unique and signature shape of the “humpback” conveyor belt furnace. This design is beneficial to processes that require the use of hydrogen atmosphere, an extremely light gas. Heavy air that infiltrates the entry and exit doors stays out of the elevated chambers where the light hydrogen gas flows.
Two major advantages of this design are that it provides a very low dewpoint to process materials such as stainless steel and it provides for conservation of atmosphere.
Standard features include a high nickel alloy muffle, ceramic hearth plates, multi zone heating and cooling zones.
